Sputtering sound from right speaker when going over bumps fast?

A weird problem just started with my upper right speaker (not sure if tweeter or other one). Everything sounds perfect but when I go over rough ground or bumps at freeway speeds it makes a sputtering sound similar to the sound that you hear when you plug in speakers and touch the metal before it goes all the way in.

- The sound still happens when the stereo is off. The loudness of the sound does not change even if I change the volume.

- I took out the plate covering the tweeter and speaker when the car was stagnant and played some music and hit the tweeter lightly as well as the other speaker but could not recreate the sound.

- I have an OEM Audio+ set but have had it for the last few months. The tweeter seems to be fine as I can hit it hard and it doesn't sputter.

- The only wiring changes I made around the area is I tapped the wire going into the cigarette lighter in the glove compartment for LED strips. This was done using quick connects so I doubt it would affect it.

Well I believe I figured out the problem. The sputtering sounds were coming from my tweeters and it looks like the foam around the tweeters has been depressed heavily causing the top of the speaker dome to hit the cap covering the tweeter. I e-mailed OEM Audio+ about the issue asking if there is a known fix or if I can RMA the tweeters. Picture attached.
