Just take it to carmax or dealer and drive the frs home. That's simple; save time and energy.

Just to clear it up, I prefer a straight sale. Potential trades would be for a BRZ/FR-S + the difference in cash between the KBB trade-in values of both cars.

The local Subaru dealer is offering a decent amount for the IS-F, but then I'd have to buy new. On the other hand, I would be saving $2k in sales tax. Decisions...

If you're considering BRZ, I would just take your IS-F to Subaru dealer.
Clean trade, save tax, walk out with cash in hand!
