Hyperfest - June 15th

Pretty good annual event.

I am thinking about racing in the 120min enduro kart event along with normal attendance. If anyone wants to team up for that event let me know. https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1669

Is there passing on the straights with a point-by during the hyperdrives? or is it behind a pace car?

I'll be there. I'm already on a team though. We've run the kart enduro every year. It's pretty fun as long as it doesn't rain. They're so tough to drive in the rain.

Have you done a hyperdrive before? Is it like an HPDE where passing is allowed with a pointby? or is it just laps behind a pace car?

This is my second hyperdrive!

So basically this is an HPDE 1 with only 1 session (30 mins). Instructor will sit next to you for the entire time. Passing is allowed as long as the driver in front of you gives you a sign to let you pass. There is a classroom to attend to learn all the flag and other misc stuff. There are certain passing zones like many other tracks.

I think I pushed my car pretty hard even though it was my first day. If you get an instructor who's willing to teach you, he'll teach you to push the car haha

There are 3 different tracks at summit point I think... Last time I ran on the main track, but this time they put the hyperdrive in the smallest track (Jefferson). I think it's going to be great for our cars.
