Perrin Cai: Removing silver bolts from bumper

Have a perrin cai. I have remove bolts from bumper but the silver bolts have been super tightened so it cannot be removed. Have tried using long nosed pliers to hold onto clip but there is no grip.

When i turn the bolts it just twists the bumper. So is there a way to open the bolt or should i just cut the bolt from the bumper cannot?

I would say contact Perrin directly, on their website they have a live chat function. I wouldn't cut anything though, that sounds like a bad idea. Have you tried using some wd40 or anything? Why are they super tight?

Pics of these bolts and where they are? It took me about 3 hours to remove and reinstall my bumper about a month ago and I had no issues with any bolts.

They are the two silver bolts that you are meant to remove. Will let it soak in wd40 tonight

I've never heard of any trouble removing any bolts for the Perrin CAI install before this... are you talking about the bolts underneath the bumper lip?

Some may be sticky because they have never been removed before, a quick jerk with a ratchet should break them loose. They shouldn't break the bumper.

Yes the bolts under the lip. I tried a quick pull but it twisted the bumper inside. When it twisted a few times i could see the bracket holding it but it difficult to get pliers to hold it. Ga've the otherside a try. Same issue.

Dumb question. I am turning it left?

You can probably install it without taking bolts out under the bumper. I just took out the ones under the corner lights and across the top when I installed the fa20 club intake which has a similar filter location.
