Maintenance Oil for Turbo?
Hey,
I just got an oil change from toyota *Free* I'm getting the FA20CLUB turbo kit in a few weeks and I want to have everything ready to go, Do I have to change the oil in my car after I go turbo? I've heard for the tranny this is good; Tranny: Motul Gear 300 75W90 what about for the engine and the diff?

Use an oil that holds up to heat well. In the past I've used shell rotella and amsoil on turbos with success.

Any full synthetic will do, pick your favorite brand in 0w30 or heavier. 0w20 is too thin for heavy duty use.

I put a solid poly front engine mount on my boosted XB2 and hated it. The company then offered a much softer bushing and it still sucked. Personally I'd consider trying some inserts but leave the solid engine and trans mounts for full race cars and those who like all that NVH. FWIW. |

If yes, you will need mounts sooner rather than later. Get Perrin mounts, they do not add that much NVH, but it is noticeable how they hold the engine in place.
