Attn: Very low oil after 6500km
Hadn't checked my oil in a few thousand km. Rolled up up chevron. Popped the hood. Checked the oil. Nothing was registering. I had only driven about 100ft to the gas station so the engine was cold. Drove 15 mins to the Canadian tire. Checked the oil again. Still nothing. Bought a qt. And it just reads over the minimum line now. Just be careful. Kinda freaked me out a little.

I just changed the oil on an FR-S at ~5500 miles. It was a quart low on the dipstick. Seems to be normal in a lot of new engines that run 0w20. It's thin. It gets consumed easily. I also feel that the 7500 mile oil change interval is way too long.

Remember with the boxer engines you must be on a completely level ground and let the car sit for a good amount of time not running before checking the level.
