Hi guys,

Check with @2forme, but from what i remember most of the android 4.0 head units are garbage as they're run under a layer of windows CE which causes all kinds of quirks/issues. I'm sure he can point you in the direction of a good android head unit.

Not sure how necessary having Android running on the actual headunit is to you, but if you'd like your head unit to mirror your Android (or iPhone) to be mirrored to your head unit, using the touchscreen of your headunit to control your phone, take a look at Pioneer's AVH line. The AVH-X5500BHS has a 6.95" screen and might do what you're looking for.

Once you get it in, please review it; as I am looking to replace the headunit with something smarter.

Yes the 7" screens will work. A friend has the AVH-X5500BHS and it fits. You will just need the harness and whichever dash kit you prefer since the Double Din stock unit is wider than aftermarket ones.
