OEM Audio+ Engine Noise

Just installed the system, checked connections for tightness. When music isn't playing, the engine noise is picked up by the system. Is this normal? I have the grounding point fixed as depicted in the video and am concerned about this issue.

If this has occurred to others, what have you guys done to correct this?

Thanks

I'd check your crimps for the power wires to the battery and verify your ground connection again. Those would be the two most likely candidates. Their support department is awesome, so don't hesitate to give them a call.

I soldered that connection and put heatshrink insulation on it. I'll verify the ground connection after work.

They're local in socal so it wouldn't be too difficult to drop by and get it checked out.

Checked the subwoofer wire connection and noticed it wasn't inserted all the way. The 2 new connectors behind the head unit weren't fully inserted either, my mistake haha.

Does the amplifier have a mute function?
