Now THAT'S a towel!

This is my first Pakshak microfiber and all I can say is, DAMN!

Typical chain store towel on the right for comparison...

That's not a towel. This is a towel!

Looks good though. I need a few more microfibers. I only have a handful of really nice ones that I use for polishing and could stand to pick up a few more. Especially a new drying towel.

I'm still looking for a good drying towel that doesn't leave streaks. A shammy was ok but molded after the first use.

Whenever you goto the beach, don't forget to bring a towel! *obligatory

That does look nice! I'm in desperate need of a new drying towel that works well and can finish the whole car. Can it do the whole car without getting soaked and leaving some water marks?

I just got it yesterday, so I can't attest to how it works in action, but I'd use this as a final buffing towel, probably. For dying I'd use a waffle weave.

I let the water sheet off during final rinse, then dab (never drag) the towel onto the remaining drops of water. No streaks, ever. Here's the one I use. It's stupid expensive, but I'm happy with it.

I also picked up some of the edgeless and the ultra-plush Silver Surfers. The quality is amazing. I'm actually looking forward to spending the day in the driveway.

Use quick detailer while youre drying it. Spray while youre wiping away drops of water with a microfiber - somehow adding more water and lubricant makes drying things faster and easier.

This. I never "dry" my car, spray quick detailer on a microfiber and go over the wet areas. Overkills but it works.

If you're sheeting the water, and the car is properly waxed, there really shouldn't be much to dry, anyway.

I pat dry with one big plush microfiber and then do a light wipedown with instant detailer and a really soft microfiber.
