Any socal dealers or certified shops that are mod friendly?

So far I have a cat back and a drop in filter. But I haven't got my tune yet because I don't want to void my warranty. I also want to get the Rev works uel headers but again before I pull the trigger I need to find a dealer or certified service tech who won't throw me under the bus becuz of my mods. Is this just a pipe dream? Feel free to pm me if your trying to keep it hush hush :-
Much obliged my fellow socal 86ers :-)
Thanks Brandon

You should be fine at a dealer. They would have to prove the part was the cause of the failure to deny your warranty.

I brought my car to both Longo and puente hills Toyota, but I think it up to the service writer and tech to work together if you are trying to warranty something that goes into the grey area.

Wow, that sounded pretty good even with stock exhaust. (Hehe...sorry, I googled and found a video for the headers he mentioned. )

I understand this but from my research it seams s though our cars cpu is quite intelligent and will inform the techs of any alterations i.e. tunes. Now do i think a tune will make my engine blow up no, but it seems to me that this would be a good excuse for a service department to not want to have me pay for work that needs to be done because i had a "tune"
does that make sense? Im really trying to get multiple opinions on this before i do it

Ah, yeah. I would hold off on a tune personally. Where I work I can tell you that our ECUs have a counter. It shows how many times an ECU has been flashed and how many times it was successful. I'm not sure if Toyota does the same thing. I'm fairly confident it may though.
