How's this for an AutoX POV?

At Sebring--there was a NASA event going on @ the big track. My car comes into view @ 4:50.

I wish autocross here in Portland was that long or maybe the fish eye lens is making it look bigger than it is. The courses are so short here it's not really much fun as it's less than 60 seconds worth of driving and never getting out of 2nd gear. Probably why I like track days 'HPDE" so much more.

all depends on the organizing clubs and how hard they try to find new lands to play on.

Some find a patch of land and stick to it. Since it's usually all volunteer work, no one wants the headache of running around negotiating these things.

Heh... The club's regular lot is a whopping 300x600'

That Sebring paddock area is long, but hard to get & nearly 2 hrs from our normal venue--but, oh, the GRIP!

Yeah, agreed--I'm a PCA DE instructor as well, so seat time is plentiful there.

Very cool. I have a friend who runs a business doing aerial video/photography with RC copters, I've been trying to get him to come out to one of our events.
