Wanted to post this. This had the potential to be deadly.
Be safe out there fellow 86'ers

EDIT: And no, this wasn't me, I saw it on YouTube!

What is going on here? Is one of them going the wrong way down the road?

I dont know, I'm assuming the truck was going down the road in the wrong direction, since you can see another truck traveling down the right side of the road. Possibly an on-ramp to a highway?

Looks like a two lane road (sans lane divider lines) where the truck driver didn't stay on his side...reason I think this is that the GT86 driver didn't seem to hesitate or slow down much upon seeing the oncoming truck. I sure as shit would pull off to the side if I saw a big-ass truck barreling towards me going the wrong way

I wonder if that last second jerk of the wheel would have caused a worse-handling car to lose traction and hit more of the truck?

Whether going the wrong way or not, the truck driver appears to see the snow on the road and veer to the other side to avoid it.

I've seen a LOT of driving videos on this forum that make me cringe, but that was a pretty good reaction from the BRZ/86 driver. Didn't appear to do much wrong and certainly reduced the severity of the crash.

It looked to me like the truck didn't stay on his lane. He went too fast on a slippery road, and when he had to turned (where the road is curved), he didn't turn much (to have traction). There some snow left on both side of the road.
