Might seem like a smart ass response, but in all seriouness have you checked to make sure the stereo is turned on? If so take it to the dealership and make them fix it.

Is it when the lights are on or off?

there is a fuse for interior trim illumination that is blown. look in the owners manual. its a fuse panel inside the car. i blew this one as well when installing my head unit.

I actually looked into the wiring diagram manual online and found that dome fuse under the hood was blown.
no spare 20amps around so I'll grab one from the store, should fix my problem unless the illumination fuse is blown as well. I'll have a look into that.

thanks again!

yeah they are on the same fuse. there should be a spare of each fuse in the box so you shouldn't need extras unless you already used the ones in there.

Better question - what has changed recently that would cause fuses to pop?
