I'm the only one who likes the stock wheels, right?

Probably!

Nothing wrong with wanting a different style, size, color, whatever, especially if you're going for function, but it just seems like some people will switch out the stockers simply for the sake of doing it. Even if they love the style, they'll change them just so they won't be considered "lame" or whatever. I swear, if cars came from the factory wearing Enkei or OZ, there'd still be dudes switching them for Rotas.

Sure, if I'm tracking a car, then yeah, I'm going to have to upgrade for the weight reduction alone, but with the BRZ, unless I can one day afford to throw down $4k for Te37s (my dream wheels), I'm totally happy with these. They could be a little fatter, and a lot lighter, but 17s are the perfect size and I think they look awesome.

So, am I alone, again?

I like the stock rims as I think they go fine with DGM. If I had a different color, I would probably swap them out for something else though.

The stockers don't look horrible, but they do look better IMO on white, gray or black. I think mult-spoke wheels look very good on them, even paint silver stockies. I'll probably be switching down the road for tire size more than look ie 17x9.

I like them too, wasn't a fan in the start but they are growing on me! So no, you are not alone!

I wouldn't say they are the best looking rims but I still like them. I think (besides weight reduction) the main reason people change their rims is to make their cars unique. I loved the wheels when I first saw the car but after seeing them over and over on the FR-S they got a little duller looking for me.

the stock wheels never appealed to me much from the start. i'd have preferred them to be offered in all black or all silver, vs. the two-tone effect, and more of an STi style.

I don't think they're terrible but they're definitely nowhere near my favorite OEM wheels. When my wife and I first saw one at the dealership, I said they weren't really that great and she said she thought they looked good.

The OEM wheels are ok... But not enough width for me.

I hate the stock wheels. Too narrow and the offset sucks. Look like crap in my opinion too. Only use they have to me are drift spares.

The only problem I have is the gap between the fenders and the wheels. Need to lower mine, but I don't want to mess up an already great car!

They aren't my favorite wheels, no, but they're better looking than some other stockies rolling around out there.

I'm in the same boat. I actually like the stock wheels. I'm gonna put some decent rubber on them for autox and call it a day until, like you, I can get some TE37's (also my dream wheel). Until then, I'm completely satisfied with the look of my car. Even the height oddly enough.
