Question Throttle Position question

When we are at wide open throttle with our cars, the throttle position should be to 100% ?

Yesterday with my ecutek logs I saw in the charts table that my throttle position wont go over 80,4% at wide open throttle.

Is this normal ?

I would prefer to have 100% instead !

My tuner just told me it was normal the throttle position goes to only 80,4%.

He said to check into the ecutek data table for accelerator angle(%) and as long as this one goes to 100% you're fine.

If somebody else have another theory let us know.

Thank You.

that is normal i see the same thing with BRZedit and plain old ODBII scanners. You can easily get LESS throttle plate opening by messing with the torque base tables, but i have yet to get more than about 81% and it fades off as revs climb from a max of around 80% at 4K to high 70's up top.

I checked my torque pro app, the throttle only goes 100% if I use extra force to push in the pedal. Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing or if it is even necessary to push it THAT hard.

EDIT: Nevermind, my Impreza does that, the BRZ stays at a maximum 81.4%. I am guessing it has something to do with the DBW vs Cable throttle

Along the same lines as this topic, I just hooked up my Scangauge (OBDII gauge) and noticed my relative throttle maxes out at 69% at wide open throttle, which I thought was odd....

I wonder if the ECUTEK tunes increase the percentage.

Nope,
There are multiple Accelerator pedal params and throttle plate params. If your not seeing 100% on the accelerator pedal, your not logging the correct parameter. If your not seeing a max of 82% tapper to 79% for throttle plate, your not logging the correct parameter.
