mechanic/someone to do tech inspection?
So where do people usually get their cars inspected for track events and stuff? I'm planning on going to ADSI this sunday but I need my tech form filled out...
Any recommendations (preferably a place that's open late since I get out work at around 430pm...)? Thanks! |

I don't think you need to have that filled out by a shop.

They usually have tech inspectors at the event itself. At least that's how it is in my area.

Yea I think that form is just for your own reference before heading out so you are not disappointed/surprised when the techs at the site deny your vehicle for whatever reason.

Some groups don't require it to be a shop but its often a very good idea. Your car is probably pretty new so chances are its in good shape. I used to do inspections for BMWCCA events and often found issues with cars the owners didn't know about. The tech inspectors at the track only look at the car as it sits on the ground so they can't see everything. Going to shops is also a good time to ask questions before the day of the event.
That's my experience
