PA/CB radio DIY?

Has anyone done this yet? I tried searching but i havent found anything yet. Ill probably order my CB radio this week so i guess ill just play it by ear when it comes to installing it.
I just helped my buddy install in on his 2013 wrx and it took us 4 1/2 hours to complete. I was hoping someone had already done it with our car so i wouldnt have to rely on trial and error, lol

I had a setup like this in my S2000. Worked great on road trips. I highly recommend this CB - Cobra 75 WX ST 40

thanks man! theres so many to choose from, haha, its hard to decide. but what did you use as an antenna? thats what preventing me from buying it most. because i dont want a huge antenna. I found a 8 inch one that had good reviews but im also confused about tuning them. If you could shed some light on that, that would be great.

I used a magnetic 12" antenna in the center of the trunk deck lid on the s2000. I really liked the size of the Cobra 75 WX - you can unplug it when not in use and nobody would even know you had a CB in the cabin.

I never tuned my antenna - I had it more to communicate with other enthusiasts in groups that Id be driving with when on the interstate and in the mountains.
