I had my front bumper replaced because the dealer drilled holes for my plate when I said not to.... Now at night the match looks terrible.. But next to perfect in the day.

Yikes, that's pretty bad. That said, the difference in material also affects the appearance of the paint. If you look at the factory-painted pieces closely, you'll notice a difference from the bumper to the fender/hood. It shouldn't be THAT bad though...

That was my first thought that they went with old wrx blue......just talked to the paint place and they said for my paint code there are 5 variances so they are going to re paint it with me leaving my car there to match.... But yes I know to expect SLIGHT differences between painted metal and plastic.

And it's only really noticeable at night it's weird

Probably need some better pictures and different angles. Some paint difference is normal but from your picture it looks way off.
