2013 Honda Civic Si Sedan vs 2013 Subaru BRZ
I was seduced by the dark side and traded in my BRZ:

Seems like you bought the BRZ for the wrong reasons in the first place. The twins are sports cars, the civic is not. I had a civic si and traded it for my FRS. I don't miss it one bit. It looked like an economy car, and I felt like a teenager driving it.
To each his own though. Enjoy the new ride. |

Not a car I would ever buy... But all that matters is you are happy with your purchase!

I'm sorry, but civics will always be wannabes in my book. Especially Si's.

What's with the civic bashing? It's a great car for the segment it targets. Don't act all high and mighty because you own one of the least expensive sporty RWD cars on the market.
The FR-S/BRZ is sporty, but not a sports car IMO. |

My RX-8, which is a decade old, has a better of everything than that CIVIC Si.

I totally bought the BRZ without thinking it through or for the wrong reasons. I was caught up in the BRZ hype, but in the end I'd rather have a more livable car.

People turn head when they see an FRS/BRZ.... they dont even know it a budget sports car most of the time....not so much with a civic SI. I came from a Mazdaspeed3...this I know.

It really comes down to each's own. Though I do believe the FR-S/BRZ is an overall better performance platform and better looking car, I can see how a Civic could be more practical to others.

:/ this is (in my eyes) a very dumb decision. Aftermarket support for the k24 in that car isn't all that great , the motor itself feels very "meh" , and it will always be fwd. If you just had to have a civic with v-tec the better buy would have been an 8th gen with a k20 (k20-24 hybrids have better aftermarket support than the k24 in the 9th gen)..... very sad to see this

The BRZ is for the people who enjoy the track, people who know how to drive or want to learn. The civic couldn't hold a candle at the track. you were never the target market so I'm glad you are out.
