Front mesh/plastic grill removable?

Hey everyone,

I just installed the Perrin Oil Cooler yesterday and became very proficient at removing the front bumper. It's really easy and takes maybe ten minutes, but if I'm at a track, I don't really want to spend that time with the little stupid plastic clips and was thinking if I could just remove the front plastic piece covering it up, it would be easy!

Does anyone know or can point me in the direction of a manual or DIY that shows if that plastic for the front grille is removable? There appear to be some tabs or something on it that shows it connecting, but it could also just be bent plastic that is then somehow held on with more clips....?

Thanks for the help.

It's only held on by those little clips.

In this pic you can see the clips...

So does it just pop straight out of do you have to wiggle it around a bit, or do they interlock somehow so you have to slide it to the right first, for example, and then it comes out? Thanks for the pic too!

Nah they just pop out, it takes a little wiggling because theres so many of them but it's not hard, better to have the bumper off the car though when you pull it out.

Gotcha...I was looking at it for more of being able to pop this off without removing the bumper....so I'll try that once but if it feels like I'm going to bust it, I'll just have to suck it up. Thanks again!
