Does anybody have a TPMS tool I can use/borrow?
I just got a new set of wheels/tires with TPMS sensors, so I'd like to re-code my car to the new sensors. I have the TPMS sensor codes, so an ATEQ Quickset would be okay. Beer/pizza can be paid.
I'm just looking to avoid a trip to the dealer. Thanks! |

I know you already have them, so not specifically relevant to your current question, but for future reference for anyone else, one doesn't have to have TPMS. The rumor about TCS not being able to be turned off when the light is on is not true.

True. But the yellow TPMS light would drive me nutty being on all the time. That's why I decided to opt for the sensors. |

You know you're going to have to re-code TPMS when you put your winter setup on, right? That's why I live with the light for a few months...

My Winter setup: It's only 2WD, but it gets through the weather we get around here just fine. I have all-season tires for the Miata, but that never sees snow. The BRZ I have two sets of Summer tires for now. I wouldn't mind a set of all-seasons for it, but I'm not going to pay real money for a set. |

I have an ATEQ Quickset, but I'm North of Baltimore so it may be too far for you. However, I am in Jessup during the weekdays.
