nice set of tires
What's a good tire that has good traction but won't were down quickly. Also will not hydro in heavy rain? I'm going to be turbo charged and I know the stock tires suck.

Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Continental ExtremeContact DW. The PSS are unquestionably superior but also more expensive.

Get the extremecontact DW, it has the highest UTQG among similar max performance summer tires. It offers good dry traction and one of the best rain traction. Just look it up online.

For the MPSS, is the standard 215/45ZR17 size better or is it worth it to go 225/45ZR17 for the stock wheels?

ADVAN AD08 would be a great tire for what you're looking for.
Excellent dry traction and great wet traction. We have the AD08's on several cars and had no issues on the track or on the street in the rain. |
