Unhappy Nigel JDM-Parts

So I ordered fog light bezels on February 11th as part of a preorder. I waited until March 12th to contact him asking where they were.

So I waited some more. I was then notified my order was delayed and he's throwing in some LEDs. Awesome.

I was then made aware they would be shipping March 29th.

I still have no tracking number as of right now. I sent him a PM on sunday March 31st and have heard not a peep all week yet he continues to bump his threads.

I'm patient but cmon. I ordered the same fog bezels last week from a different vendor and they are already on a plane from Japan to the US and they were cheaper. What's the deal?

Pretty soon it's going to be 2 months.

I feel like a mushroom, just keep feeding me shit and keep me in the dark.

Im currently in a similar situation. I was told to expect one date then that one was pushed back another month.

This is not my first time experiencing this with this vendor either. However I think I have learned my lesson this time.

I ordered a Zippo lighter (off topic) from japan. It made it to customs state side and was rejected (becuase of the flint) so it was sent back to japan and i finally got it aorund 2mths total time via Japan EMS. It is possible that customs has it held up as well.

I never ordered from Japanparts, but I think I will start using them. They seem to have pretty good feedback.

I'm not trying to defend Nigel since I don't know all the circumstances, but from my experience of working in the industry and dealing with international stuff, a lot of hiccups can occur which isn't the vendors fault. On the flip side, there is some cases where it is the vendors fault, such as lying about estimated delivery or just straight up scamming people, although I highly doubt Nigel would do either. Sometimes it's just inexperience or lack of communication with the 2 or 3 parties.

These guys are my go to. Even when my TRD wing said 35-45 days shipping I got it in 2 weeks. Almost everything I order comes in one week while everything has come within 2 weeks unless sold out or backordered; of which they instantly notified me about after I placed my order.

I second japanparts. Everything STI on my car is from them and shipping has been quick. From what I've seen, prices are comparable if not better in most circumstances too

@post break What other company did you use if you don't mind me asking because I been looking for cheaper priced bezels. Also where did you find the fog light housing at because I haven't been able to find a good housing for my FRS.

Ordered my bezels and harness on 1/31, just got them today. I knew going in it was a wait. No biggie. It is what it is.
