Wow, just wow.

So I just saw this article this morning. To be honest with you, I have no idea which is worse, the fact they got suspended for such a simple minded prank, or the fact that the people in Florida think that "It is not my fault because I'm a total fucking idiot."

Good god what is this world coming to.

I went to school in Boston, and my old man lived in FL before he moved to Cali
It must be the heat in AZ, FL, and possibly TX too that does this type of stuff to humans

good laugh thx

I used to go to FL a lot ofr work. While I was down there, a state trooper was killed. Apparently, some kids dropped a lawn chair in the highway. The state trooper pulled over, and got out of his car to walk out and retrieve it (any time I've seen them do that around here, the pull up next to the item, grab it either through the window or an open door and drag it to the side of the road). While he's wandering in the highway, a drunk driver hits and kills him.

They charged the kids who dropped the chair with murder. I don't even think the drunk guy was charged with anything, and they certainly never considered that anyone who walks into highway traffic can reasonably expect a bit of danger out there.

The state is certainly not the intellectual center of the South.

From my experiences with Florida it can be REALLY REALLY upscale and nice on the coasts, but then you get to inner Florida where its all swampy n gross and there is more white trash than in West Virginia and southwestern PA (thats saying ALOT)

The officer (not a trooper) hit the chair and lost control and hit a guard rail. He got out of his damaged vehicle and was hit by the drunk driver as he was leaving his vehicle. They determined that sober or not there was no way for the drunk driver (or a sober driver) to avoid the impact. He was charged as a DUI instead. The fault for his death goes back to the original action which was the young adults being stupid with the chair.

The h2o thing.... Yeah people are not really that smart but I'd gess a good amount of people everywhere would have reacted to that message.

Is google really so hard to use that so many people couldn't figure out it's chemical nomenclature for water....

After all it's not like they didn't have to google the utility company number...

Surround my house with treadmills so the zombies couldn't reach me. Potentially hook generators to them to have on the power bill.
