Auto Fold Mirror

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCION-FR-S-T...e5033f&vxp=mtr

Does anyone know if these come with the motors to autofold? or is this just a module for the JDM cars with the powerfolding mirrors already?

I would think it's just the module, seems pretty cheap with the folding mirror's.

Try messaging the seller.

Looks interesting. Not sure I would want it to function every time the doors lock/unlock though. Looks like something that's just bound to fail electrically

I had it on my B13 and it was simple wiring. power, ground, and signal from and to the JDM switch.

Im guessing on these newer cars it could be more sofisticated.

parking on narrow streets. Also, in a situation where the car is submerged, they can row you to safety.

I have them on my bmw and they do help. I've had mirrors hit while parked on the street. they also help fit into tight spaces

Depends on where you live. This is beloved in Asia where streets can be insanely narrow with cars parked along both sides. Saves not only the people parked there but useful for people who drive through and it really is tight. I've seen it where literally if it weren't for folding mirrors the car wouldn't get through.

Have them on my G.C.C. spec Toyota 86 in Dubai and I find them useless because they do not fold when I lock the car. They only work if I press a button next to the side mirrors adjustment knob.
