Rubber strips on the roof?
I have some left over wax on the rubber strips on the roof and i can't seem to get it off. What do you guys recommend?
Also i know there's some product out there that cleans and shines them to...

the wax wont just come off? when my wax gets on it, it just comes off. And if i dont see it while waxing, the next day a wet rag will take it right off. Not sure of products that will make it shine but if you just want it off, a wet rag will take care of it.

Wet rag works somewhat, but doesn't get it all off.
Simple green, sounds simple.

Have you tried a pressure washer at a self service car wash yet?

If it really is wax, you should be able to just rub it off with a rag. You can use Adam's VRT to shine it up afterwards. You can also pull that rubber piece out to make cleaning it easier. It's just held in with 2 clips and some pressure in the channel.
