Thumbs up FT-86 Speedfactory / Kartboy

I recently ordered a Kartboy shifter for my 86 from Ft86speedfactory.com.

Price: Good (slightly cheaper than most but around average)

Customer Service: Fantastic (made a mistake on my shipping address, emailed them and they had it changed in an hour, and the package still arrived on time!)

Problem: I order the part on 03/23/13 and according to the website my order is still processing. Upon order Iwas ssent an automated email with an order confirmation, but beyond that no other emails were sent, so I was in the dark whither my parts shipped or not.

Over all: 4.75 / 5

I've had the same "issue" with not knowing what was going on with the order - turns out my email Spam filter was at fault.

There's a good chance if you check your spam folder, there's an email from JB Autosport confirming shipment of your order.

We're working on getting tracking numbers to the site in a more timely fashion, it's two separate systems we use. Definitely one of the areas we need to improve on. We always get the part out though.

Appreciate the support.

Kartboy

Bout their short throw shifter.

I am thoroughly impressed, on their website they claim a 28% reduction in throw but it feels like 50% the pattern goes from being a decent throw with some slop stock to tight precise shift pattern with a click of each gear you'll be having so much fun shifting you'll look down and see that you're going 120mph and not notice it.

Installation was a breeze, but was hard ripping panels off my brand new car lol. Once you get the panels off its about 12 bolts and 3 clips away from victory.

Overall: 5 / 5

I highly suggest buying one from ft86speedfactory.com
