T1R Full Exhaust re-dyno x DRIFT OFFICE TUNE !!!!

Hi Guys

Sadly, the original dyno facility has been closed down and we have to source another dyno facility. this time all dyno runs will be performed with Dynapak hub Dynometer.

We started fresh again so we put the car back to stock and to do the base run. We made 151.3whp (stock) 131WTQ .

- The red dotted line is stock (151.3WHP) / Pink line is with T1R 70R cat-back (159.3WHP)
The cat-back exhaust gained 8WHP / 2WTQ at peak . From 3500-4500rpm it gained 2~4.1WHP 1~2.5WTQ. At 5000-6500rpm it gained 5~8WHP /5~8WTQ. The factory torque dip got narrowed.
——————————-

- red dotted line is STOCK (151.3WHP)/ Blue line is with T1R 70R exhaust (159.3WHP) / Yellow line exhaust with front pipe (162.6WHP)
With the addtion of the Front pipe, it showed 3WHP at peak. At 4000rpm it gained 2WHP & 4WTQ. From 5000-6500rpm , it gained 1~2WHP and 2~6WTQ. The Stock torque dip got narrowed more.

---------------------

- Red dotted line stock (151.3WHP)/ Blue line 70R exhaust + Front pipe / Pink line 70R exhaust + FP+ Over pipe (162.8WHP).
The T1R Over pipe did help to improve the mid-range toque but not much in power. It gained about 1~2WTQ from 4000-6200rpm and about 0.5WHP at peak. As well, the torque dip got narrowed.
----------------------

- Red dotted line stock (151.3WHP) vs Pink T1R Prototype Header, over pipe, front pipe and cat-back exhaust (165.1WHP)
From the test, the header gained another 2.3WHP at peak and 2~4WHP / 3~5WTQ at 3000-4000rpm. However, the air fuel ratio was leaning out so if we can rich up the engine a bit, we should see another 3-5WHP gain.

Here's the A/F :

- The red line is the T1R Header + Full exhaust and the blue line is T1R header + Full exhaust + Visconti TUNE

The tune didn't work out with the T1R exhaust setup so it ended up power loss. So We talked to BOB @ Drift Office and he said he can fix the tune for us. Then we headed down south !

At Bob's facility, he does not have the same dyno so we have to do a baseline with his DYNOJET. The baseline was 168whp, comparing to our last result with DYNAPAK, it showed about 3whp more so now we all know there's a 3whp difference

Bob @ Drift Office did an excellent job. The T1R is a very powerful setup and with the tune it made 20whp at peak vs baseline and from stock is +35whp and +14WTQ TOTAL.

We will be hacking up the header again and make it with bigger primaries and secondaries, we will be aiming over 190whp !

Stay tuned !

Ben @ AJR

I'll confirm that since that's what I insisted on. Also note the alleviation of the dreaded torque dip; while it's not gone, it's certainly less pronounced and this is just a start since they're still developing the product.

Looking forward to more goodness from AJR and T1R!

Regards!

Those look like sample drop outs... for some reason the software hickups every now and then causing it to miss a sample or two.. this happened at the last dynojet i used too.

Nice work guys, I appreciate the thorough testing :happy0180:

Yes

Here's the dyno plot that we dyno at the beginning. This flash is from Visconti.

- The red solid line is with T1R Header + Full exhaust and the blue line is T1R Header + exhaust + Visconti Tune.

The Visconti flash didn't work with the setup. We have power loss almost everywhere so we ended up having Bob (Drift Office) to help us to fix it and once again, Bob did an excellent job

I am looking for the highest Hp setup and I am looking at it possibly? I'd really like to hit 200 whp with 93 and bold-ons.

By judging the numbers and mods that's on his car, I think it is possible to get close to 200whp. I am not sure if an intake will help with this setup and if does, by adding it and some pulleys should hit it !

The Titanium and Stainless perform the same. The only difference will be the weight.

This is what I am thinking. IMO, the car is quicker than s2k with light mods so a little more acceleration and top end, it will be very competitive
