If anyone is interested:

That was enough of a price drop for me to jump on it. Price in MA ends up being 132 with free shipping or something along those lines.

Also the codes are here for anyone interested. On the fourth page of the thread someone 3d printed a mount. I have a printer and with enough encouragement I may be able to print some mounts out. I only have hot pink plastic at the moment though ( the amazon description said red!)

Just ordered mine. Thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about getting one for a while. The mount looks pretty good IMO. Hot pink is nothing a spray can of black can't fix!

This is how I got mine too. Autozone almost always has one of these deals going.

Fits like a glove. Right where I wanted it.

Looks good! I have mine poorly velcro taped behind the steering wheel. It hasn't fallen off...yet...even after a long and bumpy trip.

I've been fairly busy lately so I haven't had a lot of time to figure out the xgauge codes. I've been wanting to get oil temp and all the other good stuff, but I must be doing something wrong while putting in the codes.

I really didnt want to velcro it in. Something about the residue bothers me. I just copied the codes right off the the forum post and they seem to work. I will admit that putting them in without a keyboard is a real pain though.

I bought a $15 bluetooth OBD II device off of eBay and connected it to my Android phone with Tourque, a $5 app. It has all of the features and many, many more. It might be a good alternative.

I did recently to an iPhone and can't find an app that is as good as Tourque, though.

Yeah I have one of those but only a 10"android tablet. It was more in the way than anything else. All the iPhone options were way too expensive.

I really just wanted a low profile semi permanent solution.

The torq app is a much cheaper solid alternative though.
