AIRAAID intake

my uncle recenlt bought me an airaid intake for my FRS, however on the forums i keep on coming of on comments that say " the airaid inccident" is it not worth installing or something wrong with it? i also came up on a dyno that said it makes you lose 16hp... but idk if that is true or not. anyone out there who has just the intake and dynoed or some insight?

its true, bad intake and you do lose hp. most people have got rid of their airaid intake. i would tell your uncle to get his money back and buy a silicone inlet instead.
