Blacki and Sporti suspension
Read a thread last night about the above model suspensions in the proving phase and now I can't find it. Tried the search feature with no success. Can anyone guide in the right direction? Guess I should have subscribed.
Thanks,

There was a Moto-Spec group buy on the RSR iSport and i think the RSR Black series was just released. Check out RSR-USA's facebook page they have a little info also.

Wanted to know if the Black series had full suspension travel when down low like the Buddy Club Race Spec. Normally when you get it as low as possible you lose suspension travel. i.e. kw's and such. It just looks like the Black series is insanely low.

I dont recall the actual specs for the black-i but you could contact
info@rs-r.com And they should be able to tell you details on the travel of both suspensions. As a first impression I couldn't believe how well the suspension felt and handled with the car being that low. |

There was a link on club4ag here that gave some info on it.
It says it's for those "who prefer to ride lower...but still want to preserve that very magical comfort and high level of precision that can’t be replicated with others."

I also vaguely remember reading somewhere that it is supposed to drop it approximately anywhere from 2-4 inches and still be comforatably to daily. I'm still wondering how this is going to effect the "fun" aspect of this car though.

The coilovers are adjustable. Front: 36-way Rear: 24-way Adjustment range from stock height: Front: -10mm ~ -80mm Rear: -15mm ~ -105mm Spring Rates: Front: 7K Rear: 7K (spring rates are customizable from 6k ~ 10k Front and Rear) So the front can be dropped anywhere from approximately 1/2 to as much as 3.125 inches and the back from approximately .5 to as much as 4.125 inches and keep the full travel no matter how far down you go. beats riding on bumpstops when you max the drop on other suspension. Not sure I want to pay $400.00 just on the shipping to get it to my house. But man do they sound good.

Dropping 4.125" is going to have your suspension geometry fubar'd without some major modifications. Travel isn't the only issue.
I'd worry about clearance too. |

I don't plan on going that low. Just low enough that the tire/wheel tucks in nice. I don't want to smack the wheel well liner. Offset is crucial when you get that low.
