Another track day video from Buttonwillow
This event was on 3/9/13 with Speedventures.com. The track was very "green" from the rain just hours before, and track was still damp for the first couple sessions. It took a while for it to rubber-in a little bit. I improved my PB (Personal Best) lap to 2:07.0 and had a passenger in the car with me when I ran that lap. I still need to improve on some areas, and my Check Engine Light came back this event which was cutting power
I also need new rotors and pads as my Project Mu B-Force have about 6 events on them now and are pretty much toast. My Hankook RS3 tires are also pretty much dunzo and old. I'm confident that once I get new pads/rotors/tires and run with no passenger, I can hopefully get into the 2:04 lap time range. There were some other FR-S/86's there, but didn't really see what they were running time-wise. They were in different run groups. This video shows me chasing down a new Porsche 997 911 GT3, a Lotus Elise and an E90 BMW M3. So much fun! Time to go up a step to HC+800! Added benefit: they're cheaper than B-force too....

Nice video! How were the seats? Looked like you were adjusting every so often after a hard turn

![]() @suaveflooder Yeah, the seats are OK for being stock, but I have to readjust every so often. I should take my Recaro SPG bucket out of my S14 and throw it in there for track days The worst part though is that my right leg hits the side of the console and the next day I got some nice bruises, haha. I might have to get those JDM knee pads.

A mix of, but heat stress (and eventual cracking) is the larger concern , rather than just eating into the rotor and running them too thin. We have a set of barely used (to the dealer and back on stock pads... literally 40 miles of freeway driving) rotors that we'd be willing to unload...

 What a waste of a GT3.... No doubt the driver was making excuses somehow.
Good show, nice driving, and thanks for sharing!

I can see that.
Still, there's no reason a FRS/BRZ should be passing a 997.2 GT3. I remember passing an MP4-12C and Viper ACR in the same lap once in my old Evo and thought to myself, "what are these guys doing?" It's not me. It was them. They sucked. I had no delusions where I thought an Evo could hang with any of those cars. I'm not saying you guys were thinking that way, not at all. However, there are people on this board who will come to that silly conclusion.

Then again, if OP is making massive power over stock with some sort of FI, then I take back my comments. It doesn't look like he is, though...
