Esm 004 or Esm 002R?

I've been debating between these two wheels for what seems like forever. I've seen a few people on here with the ESM 004's however I have yet to see anyone with the ESM 002R's. Which is kinda the appeal, do something different. Trying to just get opinions here. BTW this is going on a Raven FRS and will be lowered on fortune auto coils. Thanks
The sizes and links are as follows:

Esm Silver 004: 17x9 +38 (LM Replicas)

Esm Silver 002R: 17x8.5 +20 (Mesh Type)

If you get the 002s be sure to sell the FRS/86/BRZ and buy a mark II golf. Same could be said for the 004's. Not dissing, but there are better options if you want a retro style wheel - rotiform for example.

I think Rotiforms are sweet too, but out of the two OP offered, definitely the ESM004's, but I'd go with 17x9s. I think 18s with these wheels and low profile tires on the 86 doesn't look great.

Esm 004 or Esm 002R?

Rotiforms are nice no doubt but for my price range they are way outta the question. The rotiform race which looks similar to the 002R in terms of style are 700 a wheel and I'm gonna end up spending a grand for all 4 of the ESM's. Granted the rotiforms are forged and thus way stronger/lighter buuut too pricey. Plus where I live the roads are always in construction which is no bueno for higher dollar wheels. Also I'm definitely not going to go 18s. They fill out the wheel well nice but I don't really want to go bigger...just wider.

I have the 004s in 18" (staggered fitment). I'm waiting on tires and my colivoers to arrive. They look great, but it comes down to what you like.

I've seen your build thread before actually when I was googling to see if any black frs/brz had silver 004s. It looks really clean

I would love to see these on a whiteout FR-S.

Found a pic on ESM's Facebook page. According to them, these are 17x10 et15, 17x8.5 et20. That's way too aggressive.
18x9.5 et38 would be nice.
