Does the brace bar helps?? or just for look?

currently i got the hotchkis sway bar sets on my FRS and thinking to maybe install the brace bar sets as well?? but does the brace bar improve the performance?? or it just a matter of look more??

or what specific parts of brace bars increase the most performance??

Looks like this is in the wrong forum. This is the Classifieds section for Brakes, Suspension, Chassis. Perhaps this was where you wanted post this? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=59

To answer your question, when it comes to strut bars there isn't one specific bar that will "increase the most performance" they all do the same thing, which is to normally connect two upper suspension points together. Sometimes they connect to 3 or 4 points total (Strut tower, firewall, firewall, strut tower. Or the normal Strut tower to strut tower). The 3 or 4 pt design is normally to increase rigidity and strength but nothing you will directly feel in driving, a 2 pt strut tower bar will inherently feel the same.

Strut tower bars are engineered for specific reasons, they aren't just made for looks. The difference comes down to quality of materials and design but it's pretty hard to screw up a solid bar.
