Wilmington Match Tour Cancelled - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

In case anyone was thinking about registering and hadn't yet, Brian Harmer sent out a mass email today announcing the Wilmington, OH Match Tour was cancelled as of this afternoon due to lack of approvals from FAA to use the site. Needless to say, I am particularly disappointed as this was likely going to be my only major event for the year, and I was signed up to codrive in STX with Andrew

Very disappointed.

Yeah pretty bummed about it, was working pretty hard to get Kenneth's RX-8 ready to go. It would have been nice to have an autox so early in the season. Now us Detroit folk have to wait till May for our first event....

that Sux...sorry ... was contemplating going myself..Guess that decision is made .. however I did see on SoloMatters that all hope is not lost .. as they are still negotiating the site... We'll see ..

The national match tour is definitely cancelled, they are still working on the other tour in August as well as trying to do a regional event instead of the match tour if things come through.
