Enkei Tenjin on Asphalt?

These wheels just got released so there's no pictures on cars, sorry lol. Im wondering what you guys would think about either color on an Asphalt FRS with some black accents (badges, sidemarkers, tint.

Hard to think with no pictures on the car, so I figured I'd gather your opinions. Gunmetal can be a touchy color!

I feel you. It's so hard to add anything to an asphalt, because it doesn't blend so well with colors that pop. It's clean and simple the way it is. Anyways, I like both wheels above, but personally i would go with the lighter colored wheel for my car.

I've been watching these for months now. I didn't think anyone else was paying attention to these, everyone seems to be focused on the Kojin's. I've been thinking about going gunmetal on my DGM. I think I'd like these better if they were all one color, but the polished lip will have a bit of a old-school look on these cars. I also like that the 17x8 version has less of a lip than the one in the picture. Now I'm just waiting to see how much they weigh, that'll be the deciding factor for me.

This doesn't help that much, but Tirerack does have it in their configurator.

Yea I was looking on Tire Rack, but the visuals are shaky. The black blends in perfectly lol.

And different pics have a different shade of gunmetal, which makes it even harder. Id like to order them with some rubber after the weekend!

Thatd be awesome, in the Gunmetal I'm assuming? Are you going with a square set up? I cant wait for these pictures and will definitely delay my order until then. Thanks!

Yeah, I'll be going with 17's gunmetal for sure on my asphalt FRS. I'm not sure if I'm going to stagger with 17x8 and 17x9 or not. I am lowered about 1.5 inches on Tein coilovers.

So do I go with 17x8 or 17x9's all around or should I stagger them?

Im planning on going the 18x8.5 square route.

Id go square personally for longevity of the tires.

Yeah, if I went 18's I would go square with spacers probably. I figure the 17's would be cheaper in general and I could run 235's in the front and 255's in the rear. I'm just not sure how offsets would work.

I have also been waiting patiently for these. I prefer the gunmetal color.

@Liebot-looking forward to seeing your set up.

I'm still waiting to find out the weight of these and see them at different angles, but these showed up on facebook, so I thought I'd show them here. I don't know if the FRS is someone already on here. The think those are 18s on the FRS and the s2k has 17s.
