optimal RTR setup
So this might sound like a stupid question..but if your planning on staying in Stock rtr class what is the most you can do? Im looking at stock sized RPF1s with RS3s on there. Brake Fluid and Upgraded Pads. MAYBE a lightwieght battery? not sure about that because ive heard that pushes you to STX.

same width/diameter tires. offset can be +/- 6mm front sway bar dampers only (must keep OEM springs) |

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...ll&sort=Weight anyone know anything about these? ive been looking for a good light set of wheels and coming from a name like Enkei i figured theyd be pretty good quality..just surprised Ive never heard of them around here before. Certainly not cheap but like I said 44lbs of unsprung and rotating mass? Holy Toledo |

I've got Enkei's that are right to limit on offset. You can do dampers... and I've got one set of Koni sports in stock yet too. You can do one swaybar change.... and you want a bit more, but not too much front bar. Pads are legal to change, camber bolts (OEM only). Tires, well that's TBD about what's quickest.

9 pounds? Not correct. RPF1's are just under 16 and you don't get much lighter....

You can't use those for RTR anyways. They are a 17x8 and you can't use 18's
You have to stick to a 17x7 rim and you have 6mm of offset you can go.

RPF/1's weigh 4lbs a corner less than my stock wheels and tires, and that's with 235/40 Z2's. I was also surprised to see that my car weighed 2680 with 3/4 tank of gas.
Sam? What happened to the not giving all the info away??? |

Yeah, that weight should be correct for the Koseis. I have the Kosei K1 TS on my BRZ, which are the same size and offset as the K4R, but weigh 14.6 lbs, for some reason Tirerack doesn't list them for the BRZ. I originally had them on my Forester XT.
