Clazzio custom leather kit

Did a rough install on most of my new Clazzio leather kit. Got it all on good enough for now except the back seat back part. All black, leather insert, red stitching and custom red 86 logos on the headrests. Definitely a bit of a pain at first to get them on but once u figure out what ir looking at its not too bad. Its a little wrinkled/loose in some spots at first as expected but even just after sitting in it for an hour or so i an tell theyll settle in nicely. Also put the seat heathers down under between the stock seat and the new leather. Just left the cable hanging under the seat for now till i get around to wiring it up. Id say well worth the money if your looking for something nice without spending $1500 on katzkins. More pics will be posted once i finish up and pull everything tighter.

edit: put a better quality picture up of the front

Looks nice! Can you get a back heat option as well as the bottom of the seat?

Updated the picture up top... didnt realize how grainy the first one was. The front seats are already looking pretty good, just needs to settle in a bit in the middle of the back rest. as of now it's a little raised from the seat and just needs to sink in to it better. Only got the back seat cushions in so far, didn't get a chance to do the back rest just yet.

2 concerns that i'd like to throw out there:

the back seat cushions are clipped into place in the back and when removing, you have to push down for it to release. I'm having a lot of trouble pulling it back up into the clip. Any tips on how to get this back in properly?

Also, earlier today the car thought that someone was sitting in the passenger seat when there was not and it kept beeping about the seatbelt not being on. I restarted the car and it was still flashing. I pressed down in the middle of the seat a couple times and it went away. Any idea? Is there a sensor that might be getting to much pressure on it somewhere? It's not like they're heavy or anything, i feel like something might be too tight on wherever the sensor is though.

The seatbelt alarm is probably from the seat heaters sitting under the cover. (See http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7410). Its not detecting weight but the bodies electric field or something. Try unplugging the heaters and see if you still get the alarm.

i actually just saw that and although that makes sense, i never actually wired them up yet. I just left the harness hanging under the seat until i get around to pulling up the center console again to run the wires

it actually happened again last night... i was picking up some flowers for the lady and i got in the car, turned it on and had no alert going off, put the flowers down on the seat and it started going off. I picked them up and it continued the whole way home. After letting the car sit off for a while and going back in the alert was gone

Is it possible the seat got wet from the flowers? If so, it is most likely what caused it.

This is just what I have observed from the load cells, but here it is.

Loads on the seat that are applied before the car is turned in don't register an airbag alarm. Loads applied afterwards, even light loads, will trip it. I think it does a differential between the value at start and the value later. Humans wiggle and squirm enough to set it off even though we are in the seat when the car starts. Flowers don't.

that seems to be whats happening. something touches the seat while its on, alert goes off, wont go away till the car sits off for a while. This car is just full of strange things. Some light objects will cause it to go off, some heavy ones dont, someone looking at it the wrong way will make it go off, rain stops windows from working in the cold, I give up lol. hopefully they adjust all these annoying things for the 2014s and i'll just trade the car in if they wont make the changes for our cars. i'd say that's a problem solved lol

Happened again on my way to work just now. Left the car on with it beeping and pulled the heater pad out and it stopped. Thats kinda ridiculous that something electronic thafs not even plugged in could set it off. I guess we'll see if that was the permenant fix
