I'm thinking of changing over to black rims. Any suggestions on good quality wheels. And what about the TPMS? Thanks in advance.

Black wheels look awful, in my not-in-the-slightest-bit-humble opinion.

I think black looks great on the right wheel and makes for a mean looking ride. I think plain silver looks boring and needs atleast some color or a polished lip to make it stand out. The only problem I see with black is that it's hard to photograph and make the wheels stand out. Imo

The only thing about black wheels is I think of the old days when you saw a car with black wheels and that meant the guy had lost his hub cap. Obviously my age is showing.

ultimatly i think it depends on the color of the car. Im not a fan of a white car on black wheels, or red for that matter. However i would rock black wheels on my WRB Brz

With the right car it can work, but they are absolutely played out. The style has gone from the "because race car" look of the 90's early 2000's to being able to get them as a factory option on almost every car.

i was looking into wheels a while ago and found the avant garde m310. i wanted silver but all they have in our bolt pattern is the black. good lookin wheels

This is just my preference but I like Work or Weds. (I really wanted Watanabe but they are pretty much not available in US unless you wanna pay about $800/wheel)
I went with Work CR-ultimate in black and I love it.

Also if your tires are dirty, black wheels help make your car look like a mess.

They look good in real life. Not so much on Photos unless going for the murdered out look. IMO if done right, any color/finish looks good if you complete the look.
