New cars and tuning...will this trickle down to the FT86

A lot of new cars are making more power than ever before when modified compared to 10 or even 5 years ago. I know most of those cars are turbocharged, but do you think that will trickle down onto the AS1? Hopefully the rods/block are nice and strong! I wonder who will be the first to bring this car into the 10s.

And before someone says that's not what this car is about, let me say this

Improvements from NA bolt ons will be small. Some reasons boost cars respond so well to tuning is the possibility to increase boost pressure and the fact they tend to run very rich from the factory.

I would be surprised if intake headders exhaust yield more than 15-20hp. Some cams might help a little. I think 220 whp is about the max without serious investment and compromising the daily drivability of the car.

The boosted applications are going to be nice though.
