I think it looks good and it looks like you did a good job. My main concern is how well it will hold up to daily use before it starts chipping and flaking.

Looks really good. I have the majority of a can of krypton plastic left over, so I may try. I painted my badges with it and it will not scrape off on the FRS badge i ised as practice. What was hardest part?

I actually used two cans of paint so its pretty thick, i dont think itll be flaking or anything. It actually feels better than original trim which already had a couple small scratches. Ill let eveyone know in a couple months how it looks. |

Taking the trim off was probably the hardest, they just would not come off. I didnt wanna break anything so i didn't force it. Just pull from the bottom slowly. and thanks!

Looks sick. For me I'd try to do red to match my leather but I'd have to look into it if it's carried.

What kind of connection is there between the door trim and the door? Snap on? Double sided tape?

It snaps on, it took me a while to get off because it didn't wanna scratch the trim or break any clips. I slid a card between the handle and the trim on the left side of the left door and right side of the right door then slid plastic into the bottom of the trim to get a hold of it and pulled it slowly and worked it upward. It takes a bit of force but not too much. The bottom is where the main clip is and at the very top there is a piece that slides into the door. |

I'm doing similar, but I'm replace all the trim pieces .... Getting spare set. Then gonna paint it WRB to offset the SWP. I met a forum member, and he SWP on SWP.... Not bad at all.
Also having all the red stitch eventually replaced with blue too... |
