2nd Dealer Visit for Warranty Issues

So my Zed will be visiting the dealer for the second time. A couple of months ago, my windows failed to shut upon closing the doors. I tried to reset them myself, but that only solved the problem for about a day. Now, my passenger window started doing the same thing again. On top of that, my passenger-side taillight started to accumulate water inside the housing. I hear these are both common problems for the BRZ and its twin. Anyone have similar experiences, or worse ones?

Tried the window fix, only worked for about a day. Thanks for posting the service bulletin, I hadn't seen that yet.

The window thing is a fact of life if you live in cold weather. You need to train yourself to check that the windows are up on both sides every time you get out of the car.

I missed it one night:

Good news is that it was snow and easy to brush off. Not much the dealer can do at this point. They sprayed some lubricant on the seal, but by the next day it was back to the same thing after a cold snap. Has not happened now for two weeks, its waiting for me to get complacent!

The secret to living with this car is to never trust it!

I thought the temperature was contributing to the problem. The first time it happened was as the temperature began to fall after the summer, and again after several snowfalls. One would expect some quirks in the first year of production, but it is frustrating when things happen repeatedly...

Actually, I have noticed. However in the 4 trips that I have made to the service department, they have not noticed that they never finished the pre-delivery inspection. I keep wondering if they will notice.

I also still have the faint white lines where the white plastic was peeled off the paint surfaces!

Actually, no, the summer mats are in the trunk where they were the day I picked up the car!

Just out of curiosity, what would bring you to post something that stupid? Sounds like a 3rd grader on the playground trying to be tough type of comment.

I post a comment about something that people actually do:

http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2009...two-years-ago/

Quote:
If the rubber mats were placed on top of the standard carpet mats, the retaining hooks could not be used, the report said. It noted that the rubber mats had a warning about not placing them on top of other mats, but the writing was small and might not be seen.
You decide to make a personal attack at my intelligence. Tell me again who is acting like a third grader?
