JDM Leather/Alcantara Seat Covers Installed

Last night I installed a set of Leather/Alcantara seat covers from Japan. The install was fairly easy. I did have to unbolt the seats to make it easier to fasten all of the straps that secure the covers. I purchased the seats through Nigel JDM Parts who was very helpful answering all my questions regarding the seat covers. There are a few wrinkly spots that I hope smooth out, but other than that I'm very happy with the result.

Part Number: 08215-18020-C0

Look very nice! So these are the OEM ones? Any chance of finding these with the red shoulder? I like the way the stock seats look, just would like leather/Alcantara look.

Thanks! Yes, these are OEM. They came to me straight from Japan in a Toyota Genuine Parts box. I don't think there is an option for the red shoulder. This set was all I could find from Toyota.

very nice. did you have to remove the factory cloth? How hard was it to install them? I have the Clazzio kit coming in a week or 2 but that looks great too

You don't have to remove anything. They just go over what's there. Installation was easy and straightforward even though the instructions (w/ pictures) were in Japanese.

Actually, you can get the red shoulder one as well.
But that will be different than the one you have.
The one you received is the OEM accessories leather seats

Thats interesting actually. They appear to be the same as the BRZ limited seats... i wonder how the stock seats in the BRZ are assembled. If these fit right over cloth then one would think that if they're 100% the same then they would fit loosely over just the foam/frame of the seat unless there's cloth under the factory leather kit?

If you look real close you will notice that the seat belt loop is cloth and goes through two holes in the covers. The BRZ seats have leather loops attached directly to the leather.

It is because his seats covers are designed in this way.

It is the optional accessories.

The OEM one should not fit like that.

Ahh ok didn't realize they had an option to just add the leather on over the cloth overseas. Makes sense.
