I ordered a blue high manual in september from Hillcrest Toyota... Still waiting for it to arrive. Toyota SA hasn't helped me much either. Expecting to take delivery at end of Feb or in March... There is nothing worse than waiting for an 86 :/

The first shipment allegedly arrives on Feb 21. Patience - it will be worth it!

Throw your net a bit wider - get your name on as many lists as possible.

If you find a new standard take it, the only real annoyance (IMO) is the lack of cruise control. The drivetrain is still the same afterall... And then you can use the R30k you saved on a decent radio...

Let's not start another std vs high spec debate. There is a ton of stuff I'd miss but let's leave it at that.

Hehe yeah I don't think that I'd be able to swop for a standard, BUT if you own a standard from the start then it doesn't matter because you still get the same great car at its core

Agreed! Let's not debate Hi vs Lo.
lets just all agree that Lo is better!

I also think 16" rims are way better than 17" because of less rolling resistance
