Greddy sp Double Gasket mistake

Installed my greddy sp last night. Rookie move and forgot to remove original gasket. Re installed with single gasket and leaked. Called Greddy up and Greddy stated " Should of been done by a professional" will not replace a five dollar gasket. This blows. Spent 1000 on intake and exhaust and can't get a five dollar gasket. This is a great company to buy from.

You can find gaskets at any auto parts store don't worry I have that same exhaust and their gasket leaks even when installed right.

no worries..just call Greddy back and say you're Joe Schmoe from Joe's Garage and you need a replacement gasket and have it shipped to your house...

IMHO it's not their fault you messed up. No reason to take it out on the company.

I work in retail and we get people complaining about products do to user error all the time. It's just redonk.

Either way, GReddy is not known for great customer service.

They make good stuff, but they could stand to learn a thing or two about treating customers better.

They have no customer service. Smart business would of said I'll send you a new gasket all you pay is shipping $9.95. Than customer is happy and damn greedy did not lose any money.

Purchased new gasket from greddy. Still leaks. Went to NAPA auto parts and was able to match up a gasket that worked. Fel pro flange gasket 60025. I believe it's a fiber composite gasket with a metal core. The cut out is the same size. Best of all I bought two of them for 2.99. Greddy charged me 27.00 for four and they suck.

I would also recommend high-temp silicone in addition to the gasket to further prevent any leaks.
