AHL hockey. Anyone?

Anyone here into AHL hockey? And if so how often do you go to games? What is your team? Fav player etc? I live in Syracuse and I am a season ticket holder for the Syracuse Crunch. I love that it's a "tougher" league than the NHL. Not that I only go for the fights. But I love that the AHL has that old time hockey feel that is lost in modern day NHL.

I wouldn't say it's tougher. but it's tough in a way that lots of guys are playing for a spot in the NHL.
it's amazing the difference there is in the NHL and AHL.
like how Eberle and Schultz are league leaders in points in the A, but in the NHL it's not so easy.
but nothing beats world junior games and Olympic hockey!

Some NHL guys struggled in AHL during the lockout, such a different game down there.

don't doubt it.
good thing about the A is there's not really money involved. seems as though lots of NHL players lose sight of the game. look at idiot PK Subban.

This was team that I used to see as a kid. I don't really know if they were associated with the AHL?

This is the team we currently have here and I have yet to go see any of their games. I probably should though.
