Recaro Sporster CS installed in BRZ.

Finally a seat that fits in the BRZ for taller drivers who need head room for the track with helmets. This set up with Planted brackets and Recaro sliders sits .70 lower than stock at the lowest setting. I now have more room in the ceiling and the seats are more supportive for sure.

Pass seat goes in next week.

WE tried doing fixed back seats last month but it sits WAY too high in this car.

Recaro's weigh 33 lbs each. Stock seats 46 lbs.

The Sportster CS is one sexy seat. Would love to have a pair of these.

What's the plan with the stock seats?

Will they be sold to a new home?

How do you think this seat would do for comfort during a longer drive?

I had these in my Golf R32 as factory option seats, and used to regularly do 12 hour plus drives with no problem

That said, seat comfort is a personal thing.

Thanks for posting up the pics. The seat looks a good deal wider through the shoulders and that's what I'm looking for. Will have to start pricing these babies out.

I have a client in NY city who I regularly pick up and deliver his car from Maryland (4hrs). Once there was an oil spil and I was in traffic for 8hrs in his car that has the same seats.

Its VERY comfortable while being VERY supportive.

Incredible weight savings. Can't go wrong w/ Recaro. I hope to see more seat installs on the forum.
