How to maintain vinyl wraps?
I am planning on doing a full car vinyl wrap on my FR-S and am curious as to what i can do to care for the vinyl, especially since I live in Phoenix AZ. I am looking for an idea of what products I need to preserve the color as long as possible and to ensure the vinyl doesn't become brittle and crack. Also what should I use for cleaning matte surfaces vs. gloss. I know there's probably a thousand sites on the internet claiming their products work best but i figured i would ask here to see what the general concensus is since i have never dealt with a vinyl wrapped car.
Oh one last thing, is there any special paint protectants I should use prior to the wrap to keep the paint as fresh as possible? |

I know the best person to ask. You aren't gonna like my answer.
Ask the shop wrapping your car. If you are doing it yourself, ask a shop that wraps cars in YOUR area. Weather is so different in different places, every climate will have different care instructions. |
