(PICS) Another AMAZING Opti Coat in Arizona by Windows and Wheels

I am in no way affiliated with Windows and Wheels Auto Detailing LLC. I just want to show others what amazing work they do.

So I have had my car since June. Since then I bought an unlimited pass to a local hand car wash that has great reviews. I was washing my car almost 4 times a week because I couldn’t stand seeing dust on it (live in an apartment complex). Well after months and months of washing at this place only I started noticing more and more surface scratches. Swirls everywhere but tons of straight scratches. They may be a hand car wash but they still use crappy towels that are used on a million cars. The technique they use is horrible. It may be ok for cars that have hard clear coats.

I also just got my car out a body shop; they replaced the front fender and had to paint part of the hood, door and bumper. To me the car looked perfect when I picked it up but I am no paint expert.

I contacted Wills at Windows and Wheels Auto Detailing LLC here in Phoenix Arizona. I have heard their name a few times locally. After talking on and off with him for a few weeks prior to getting my car back from the body shop I finally dropped the car with him the night before he was going to work on the car.

They are a local detailer, both mobile or at his place. He is the co-owner with his sister. Both of them are extremely nice people and extremely helpful when answering the ton of questions I had. Below is the process they took.

It took them both 11 hours of working on the car and I could not be any happier.

I am going to show you the 50/50 panel’s shots that they took. You can clearly see the change. The car seriously looks like it just rolled off the truck after delivery.

Here are the steps they took on my car

-Prep washes (removing old wax/glaze/dirt etc.)
-Decontaminated (clay bar) to remove bonded contaminants (tree sap, rail dust/iron deposits, bird droppings, industrial fall out etc.)
-Paint inspection
-Machine Compounding to remove heavy swirls, scratches, holograms and other defects
-Machine Fine Polishing to remove light hazing/marring from compounding step
-Paint sanitized to remove polishing oils and re-washed to prep for Opti-Coat Pro
-Opti-Coat Pro applied to paint, wheel faces and hard trim pieces

This includes the wheels, tailights and headlights!! The wheels have never been so easy to clean!!

A few before shots showing the horrible swirls and scratches

Here are some during and 50/50 shots

Here are a few of the finished pics. The entire car looks the same. Waiting for some time off of work to take some good shots of the entire car. Have had it at a local car show and other FRS owners could tell the difference right away.

I must say I feel my car has a second chance in life now that everything is said and done.

If you want to see the entire gallery the pics are here

Yep. The detailer offers a free follow up wash including training you on proper car wash methods. He goes over the two bucket method. I have washed it 4 times already at a coin op using spray only and dab drying only.

Car looks amazing. In fact a guy with a black shelby came over and asked what kind of car it was. Then the rest of the time he just talked about the paint. He said it was absolutely perfect. He said he is always trying to keep his car looking the best. I gave him a card and he will be getting it done as well.

Let me know if anyone knows of a touch less car wash in Phoenix. Especially north Phoenix. Detail job looks great.

Wills became an authorized Cquartz finest installer. I may be going this route on the replacement (lemon law) frs i get in a few weeks. I've read a few reviews and curious of this new coating.

Anyone have thoughts/opinions/experience on Cquartz? I am taking my frs to Wills this Saturday and am really tempted to get it treated. I asked if it would leave a glare and he said "it seems to darken it some, but leaves a pretty 'natural' finish...not a shiny Armorall look lol. So there should be no glare, just clean and protected." Mostly on the fence because $$$ but also overprotective (anal retentive).
