E-85 Question
Just to sum it up.
If i get E-85 From the Corner store down the road, I could run it stock and get gains? and if i got the Visconti E85 Tune I would get even more gains? Could i get the link to the Stg 1 e-85 tune or is there a stg 2?

Wait, wait. I dont remember hearing anything about getting gains running it while stock. Yes, you will absolutely get gains if you get it tuned for E85, but otherwise, dont think you will find any benefit to putting it in (and might mess things up a bit). Could be wrong, but that was my understanding.

No, you need an e85 tune first.

There is at least two tuners available that I am aware of, the two being Visconti and FA20club. There was a comparison thread posted awhile back. Visconti's tune made better low end torque while FA20club's tune made better peak power. It's up to you which one is "best." |

I would go with Visconti flex fuel, then you won't have to worry how much regular gas is in the tank when you swap to E85.

The e85 map you'd need to flash back to a pump gas map when switching, and run the tank down as low as possible beforehand. With the flex fuel map, you don't have to worry about running your tank low or reflashing maps when changing fuel types. |
